giannis is on the list

does he get a vote

perhaps giannis and all 16 dead guy votes should automatically go to embiid next year

yes that's clearly what he said except it isn't

but let's run with it and see

27 are dead or playing

which leaves 48 to vote

which is less than half of the 100 media who voted last year

sounds pretty elitist

maybe just let jordan vote

he is god right

he couldn't possibly be wrong or biased or anything of that nature

Jordan is a terrible GM. He improved, but he is one of the worst talent evaluators in history.

hard to say

every year there are draft decisions by various teams that make no sense in hindsight

perhaps everything is rigged

assuming it isn't you could say some teams are unluckier than others

they just coincidentally tend to be located in certain cities/states

anyway

for what it's worth

dr. j who is alive and retired said jokic was mvp last year

to use another example

i can't say for sure but i wouldn't be surprised if larry bird never voted for a white guy if he had a vote

dr. j said jokic was most deserving but he would vote for embiid because "he's my guy"

funny stuff

bird would just say some shit like basketball is a black man's game and vote for giannis or embiid and then go punch nate silver in the face

48 pros > 100 clowns

48 pros > 100 clowns

bob cousy is 94

is he suffering from dementia

who knows and who cares right

bob pettit will be 90 this year

does anyone even know if he follows the nba anymore

does stephen a. smith even have to prove he watches every game

or does he just yell a lot and they say ok stephen you get a vote

people in general are clowns

steve nash is on the list but a current coach

47

jason kidd too oops down to 46

jerry west and jordan and others who have non playing/non coaching positions for teams could be thrown out too

eventually we are left with dennis rodman determining the vote

the dude who hangs out with kim jong un

rick barry once called wilt a loser

now he says he'd pick wilt over any player ever to start a team

and that it's ludicrous to say jordan was better

is that who people want voting for mvp

i don't care but it helps pass the time looking all this shit up

including doc rivers crying a river about how people should "watch the dang game"

why so i can see embiid spend more time falling down than standing up

and then lie to jj redick that he gets doubled and tripled every play

then redick goes on to say jokic rightfully won mvp

but then cousy will say who cares what redick thinks he wasn't that good of a player

and the circus goes on

The greatest basketball players generally are the worst evaluators.
MJ is arguably the worst GM in the league.
Lebron was dumb enough to think Westbrook would be a good fit.
Kareem has shown many times that he has obvious bias and isn’t always rational.
Analysts/hardcore fans generally better evaluators of talent.
