Nope. He basically pitted one half of the nation against the other. Called MAGA Republicans extremists and radicals. That's 75 million people. And where does this go from here? This is where Biden enlists his Sturmabteilung (Brown shirts) to go from city to city to disrupt and intimidate Conservative gatherings. We are the new Jews.

You and your ilk labeled Donald Trump Hitler for four years and what do you do? You elect someone who is literally acting like Hitler by painting half the country as the enemy.

This Joe Biden clown ran on being the "great unifier" and said he would unify both sides, but what he really meant is that he would eliminate any dissent and silence the opposition.

I actually welcome armed conflict if it ever came to that. I think it's clear that I think of you Liberals as subhuman demons. You people sold your souls a long time ago. Half the country? Try again. The maga Trumpeters are a minority - around 25% of the eligible voters or less. A lot of non-maga Republicans voted for Trump in 2020 because it was not like they had a choice. Biden just threw down the gauntlet and warned the maga Trumpeters to back off.

Biden is right though that maga Republicans don't take serious the US constitution or the rule of law. They think they can do whatever they feel like & put on temper tantrums when they lose elections, but the real world does not work that way.

Trump himself is retruthing calls for Civil War on his platform and if you're at all honest and capable of removing the tribe glasses the ones excited about civil war are Trumpers. Just read Chewing he's polishing off his guns right now for his civil war moment that he's been dreaming of for the last 6 years.

And at this point I'm just ready for it to go down. The only people fighting in it would be broke political sheep with nothing to lose. You won't see any rich people on the battle field. I have to admit it the stolen election crap makes me cringe to no end. I'll also admit Trump winning in 2016(election) was epic, and I basked in the glory and triumph of him winning despite the media and Hollywood saying he had no chance.

But c'mon. Republicans had a small riot where no one other than the rioters were killed. Liberals burnt down thousands of buildings and held several cities hostage for days or weeks, with dozens of innocent people killed. But let's always focus more on that one afternoon

The nation’s top TV networks declined to air President Biden‘s Thursday address to the nation, deeming it too political ahead of the midterms.

During Mr. Biden‘s primetime speech on restoring democratic norms, NBC and CBS aired reruns of “Law & Order” and “Young Sheldon,” respectively, while ABC ran its “Press Your Luck” game show. Fox News Channel, meanwhile, opted to stick with its regularly slotted opinion show hosted by Tucker Carlson.

the infrastructure bill was a corporate handout and privatized existing public infrastructure. you can call it a win if you want.

the so-called "inflation reduction act" is a far cry from not only what biden campaigned on, but what the blueprint for that bill originally was. i'd be surprised if it significantly lowered any prescription drug prices. how much are we still paying for insulin? where's the public option? universal pre-k? paid leave? free public college? extension on the child tax credit? i'm not crediting biden for this bill.

You sound like a right-wing shill.

Infrastructure bill fixes/upgrades bridges, roads, public transit, powerlines, high-speed internet to places that didn't have it, airports, etc. Ofc it is a win unless if you are a right-winger. The previous administration talked tough but didn't pass any infrastructure upgrade bill.

For inflation reduction bill, Medicare will be allowed to negotiate drug prices, $30 max insulin cost per month, and there is also a lower $2,000 out-of-pocket annual limit. Massive 400bn for clean energy. It is estimated by CBO (https://www.crfb.org/blogs/whats-inflation-reduction-act) to reduce deficit by $300bn. Definitely a win even though it doesn't include everything I was hoping for, especially the public option.

I don't know why the Republicans didn't propose an Infrastructure Bill in the first two years, probably for the same reason why you can't tell me why the Democrats didn't propose an Infrastructure Bill in 2019 or 2020. But actually, we all know why. So they can put all the junk they want in the bill knowing full well a Democrat President will pass it no matter what. You see, Republicans are left fixing your mess. That's what they were doing from 2016-2018. You can repeat a CNN talking point of "because it was Obama" all you want, but Obama sent this country ass backwards. And here we are with Obama 2.0.

So yeah, it's all about politics and power. But more so for the Democrats because they love the power and they love enriching themselves and stepping on everyone else. Show me an honest Democrat and I'll show you an empty room.

Definitely a win even though it doesn't include everything I was hoping for, especially the public option.

this country is so far behind on infrastructure... it's laughable. the fact that they finally put up some $ for some rebuilding doesn't deserve praise. it should've been done a long time ago and this bill should have been the upteenth of many.

i'm a right wing shill because i advocate for more populist left policies? lol wut. that's news to me.

Yes, it should have been done a couple of decades ago. We are behind and playing from behind. This bill by itself isn't enough. That wasn't your criticism though. Your criticism was the infrastructure bill was a corporate handout and privatizing public infrastructure.

It would never pass a Republican-majority senate and Republican president. They would have a heart-attack over the cost of an infrastructure bill.

Senate was Republican majority through entire Trump presidency. Only the House changed majority for 2019-20. Also, democrats did unveil a plan for infrastructure (https://www.cnbc.com/2019/04/30/schumer-trump-democrats-agreed-2-trillion-needed-for-infrastructure.html) overhaul in 2019. However, McCarthy was opposed to reversing any portion of the tax-cuts for the rich that Trump had signed into law in December 2018. The Democrat-majority House still went ahead & approved an infrastructure bill in June 2020. Senate wouldn't even consider it. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-infrastructure-congress/u-s-house-approves-1-5-trillion-infrastructure-bill-but-outlook-uncertain-idUSKBN2427FO

It's so easy to say that Republicans wouldn't have passed it, therefore Democrats are better because they are passing it. And you want to accuse others of being shills?? :oldlol:

Democrats are notorious for adding additional spending to a bill that has nothing to do with the original bill in the first place. And under no circumstance does a Republican administration and Congress wastefully give money to Ukraine like the Democrats love doing. On a serious note, you ever wonder why a guy like Nanners who used to be pretty Liberal switched sides?? For the very same reason I just mentioned. For meddling overseas and sending other countries our money and not focusing on us here at home. You know...America First. But you Libs are so ass backwards now that America First is some kind of racist White Nationalist terminology.

It's a wonder why a pic like this is circulating social media right now though...

Try to imagine the level of meltdown and hysteria if Trump ever gave a speech like this Biden speech... ~30 minutes of angry rambling about how all the people who oppose him are a threat to this country and enemies of democracy, I bet the "good people" crowd would LOVE that :oldlol:

LMAO at calling the corporate propagandists who attempt to control the national narrative "the free press" :oldlol: :oldlol: :oldlol: :oldlol:

Anyone with a functioning brain can clearly see that the corporate news is the enemy of the american people, and this was obvious decades before Trump came along. Anyway, I am not surprised that a mental midget like you would try to conflate the demonization of individual american voters (what Biden did) with the demonization of corrupt corporate entities (what Trump did).

Ukraine getting attacked by Russia over their attempts to genocide ethnic Russians in the Donbass: never forget the bravery of Zelensky, and pay no attention to Azov (who arent truly Nazis despite their rhetoric, symbolism, and love for ethnic cleansing (in reality AZOV is a CIA/MI6/Mossad product built from the same basic model as ISIS))

Biden family making millions off Ukraine following the 2014 CIA coup of Ukraines democratically elected govt: Please forget as fast as possible
