You ever been? Alaska is fantastic especially if you into winter things and want to see the Northern Lights. Fairbanks is the best place on earth to see them.

Indeed. Everyone on this site is a loser for just spending alot of time in the forum. Normal people go out have dinners, go to clubs or discos, or hang around with their girlfriends or boyfriends along with friends of those. I don't mind being called a loser cause i know i am one. Its funny though pepople would make fun of losers when they themselves are losers in other areas of life. I am 41 and still live with my parents and have only had 1 girlfriend. That makes me a loser. All fine with me because i don't fit anyhow in any label. Plus i gave up on fitting in along time ago.

Fun fact: Alaska residents get a share of the state's oil revenue each year. Compare that to states like New York and California where the residents get sucked dry in state taxes.

I went to Alaska for a week two summers back. It was beautiful. Saw a lot of cool wildlife. The sun doesn't really go down all the way for most of the Summer. I met a lot of young people that live elsewhere and come to Alaska to work during the summer doing kayaking tours and such. Lot of folks making good money in oil and mining there too.
