Imagine if MJ said the goat accomplishment occurred when his preseason favorite won a series where Pippen outplayed the league MVP Barkley or Malone and achieved elite, dominant stats (even historic (https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ClArCksWQAQ_EqP.jpg))

It would be absurd

Ultimately Lebron had an equal-scoring partner to attract equal defensive attention, so he never defeated maximum defensive attention (never carried scoring load Finals)

It was probably Bronie's best year. Still not enough to make up for his multiple choke jobs though.

A super team played another super team who happened to have the best player - sure the Warriors record but the record is not always indicative of how good the team actually is. IE: 2015 Atlanta Hawks.
