The Lakers weren't joking when they said they were prepared to start the season with Russ. Everyone thought they were blowing smoke, but they weren't.

If they are forced to start the season with Westbrick, then he needs to come off the bench. If he complains about starting off the bench, don't allow him to play at all until he understands that nobody else wants him and this is the only opportunity he has.
Any minute where LeBron, AD and Westbrick are all on the floor at the same time is a minute too much.

Don’t be surprised if Westbrook gets in a John Wall scenario where he is just sent home and told not to suit up for the season. That’s if the Lakers struggle right out the gate.

Oddly enough I have always found the people you buttheads with the most are usually your best allies when paired together. Seems to already be the case with Russ and PBev.

I think the Lakers will still try to deal him, but I don't think there's a team that wants to take a chance with him. In that case, he must be in his best behavior or the Lakers might tell him to detach himself from the team, as I think he is not in the team's plans.

I'm sure they're still trying to deal him. The problem is he's getting paid way too much. Good luck finding someone to take on that contract.
