Which NBA team has the least passionate fans? The quietest fans who, when their team is being unfairly overly criticized, don't seem to take a stand and defend their team's honor?
Of course keep in mind that if a team is terrible, there's no reason for fans to pretend otherwise.
But sometimes the team is decent, or pretty good, or even very good, yet their fans are nowhere to be seen.
Bottom line is, which team's fans need to step up more and be louder?

Wizards. People go to their games to see the other team.
On second thought though, I'm not sure you can say they have the least passionate fans. The three Wizards fans in the world are probably very passionate. :lol

Houston rockets. Even when they’re good, I will see them on TV and notice their home arena is half empty at tip off. And this will be true for playoff games too.

Well when Lebron wins, which is like all the time, other teams' fans turn VERY quiet.
Funny how that works.

If we’re talking least PASSIONATE - as opposed to least numerous - then it would probably be the Lakers before Lebron arrived.
Laker fans are very well known to be fair-weather and superficial. That is, until Lebron arrived and resurrected a wayward franchise, inspiring countless fans to find a deep, genuine appreciation for the game of basketball and the continuous striving for greatness. LeAlchemist singlehandedly turned apathy into vigor for legions of fans.
So I’m going with “Laker fans when Lebron isnt around.”
Final answer.

I'd say Miami if they're not good. Fairweather fans that view their team as a trend

You must have never been to San Antonio. They're pretty passionate about the Spurs there.

And a follow-up question, what could a team do to make their fans more passionate?
The obvious answer is to win more, but what are some other answers?
