"Worst teammate? Dennis Rodman. He was a great player, but he made it hard. Like when you try to corral the guys together and the people above you [are] letting this one guy do whatever he wants. So we had to be there an hour before the game. He'd come in fifteen minutes before the game eating chicken and rice. While the coaches are talking, he would jump in the shower."

I didn't know this about the 1996 FMVP.

Interesting

I guess when you're that good you get special treatment.

You have to adjust though. I remember when Dennis joined the Lakers. They won their first ten games with him.

Phil and Michael knew that. So what if Dennis flew to Las Vegas during the NBA Finals? As long as he helps you win the game.

I'm sure Shaq didn't mind it as much as it comes across through the title, such things would qualify someone as their worst teammate. But I imagine that someone like Del Harris let that get to him. Of course that's just speculation.

He must've been really bad to pick a guy Shaq played 23 total games with.

Such a safe answer. Picking a player who he can give high praise (great player) with a well known character issue that won't stir controversy (being unprofessional) but people will still interested to hear some stories about (showing up late with chicken and rice).
