It's misquoted. His quotes about Bin Laden are in reference to the 93 bombing. In fact he got it wrong as he is basically saying that Bin Laden won't be our focus in another attack when he says "we're onto a new enemy and a new crisis." It was the same building, the same "shadowy figure", and the same crisis.

That Coup cover is something else though. Although the more I think about the less crazy it seems. If you google image search "empire state building exploding" there are dozens of images of the empire state building blowing up. Now if it actually did blow up are all these images from people who can see into the future? Nope just coincidence. The World Trade Center buildings were arguably the most popular buildings on Earth so they would naturally be the focus of things of that nature. It is amazing timing though.
