GR was a poor man's Carmelo Anthony when Melo entered the NBA he was compared to Robinson. . Same game, similar style of play, and even similar sock length.

I believe Crime in Sports did a podcast on him. He got arrested like once for a nightclub fight , hardly a career criminal like these other guys.

It's a pity he didn't stay in the Bucks longer in with Sam Cassell and Ray Allen, something strange must have happened that 2001-2002 season when they went from being at the top of the conference to missing completely the play-offs. That team had the potential to go to the Finals more than once (they were really close to getting there in 2001).

Going back to Big Dog, I was surprised how fast his career fizzled out, he was already the typical veteran who gets no minutes when he won the ring with the Spurs in 2005, he should have stayed in the league much longer.

Yeah, that comparison has always been there. However, Melo has turned out to be much better.
