How much money, time, and effort do you think it takes to turn around a junkie??

Now multiply that by several million.

You are not thinking outside the box. You are not connected to the street. Stop.

mexico! but guess what precipated this fentanyl pandemic? OPIATES legally manufactured in the good ol' US of A. guess how long that has been going on (and ongoing to date?) and NO ONE, not trump, not obum, has done shyte about it.

this isn't a right or left issues, it's an american issue that not one administration has attempted to fight or rid of.

No kidding... blaming the fentanyl epidemic on mexico is laughable.

There are several reasons this country has an opiate problem, including -

1 - for most of the past ~20 years (up until very recently), doctors have been encouraged to prescribe opiates for any kind of pain management situation (especially in certain regions like the rust belt, Appalachia, and rural Florida), and in many cases these doctors were financially incentivized by opiate manufacturers like Purdue and J&J to prescribe as much as possible. This resulted in enormous numbers of otherwise law abiding citizens getting a taste for or addition to opiates that they otherwise never would have had.

2 - the CIA has been importing and distributing afghan heroin in the US for the past ~20 or so years. This is nothing new for them, its just a continuation of Iran contra and similar schemes... this money is how they fund their most secret of black ops. Its not a coincidence that mexican fentanyl imports skyrocketed at the same moment that the US withdrew from Afghanistan.

3 - The current US admin has made it clear that they have no interest in stopping the flow of people or drugs accross the southern border, making it laughably easy for the cartels to import their product into they country (almost certainly with the blessing or in cooperation with the CIA... after all the most powerful drug cartel on the planet would probably not take kindly to some mexican gangs taking over their market)
