View Full Version : A GM's dilemma w/ Lebron: Find the goat scoring & shooting help that his brand needs

A GM must find star scorers because Lebron can't carry the scoring load with sufficient brand to beat top teams (too ball-dominant at carry-job volumes, including low team assists).

A GM must literally pluck the top two 1st options from other teams in the conference and put them with Lebron.

In addition to all-time scoring help (star help), Lebron's brand of luka-ball needs goat shooters like Allen, Korver, and many more..

In contrast, a GM's dream is having an assassin 1st option that can carry the scoring load, thus allowing the GM to fill out the team with cheap defenders.. Obviously, this dream goes out the window with Lebron - a GM must build a literal super-team where the sidekick and 3rd option are infact franchise-carrying #1 options themselves and the remaining cast is littered with goat shooters like Allen, Korver, Miller, Green and more.

I was watching American History X the other day, I hadn't seen it in a while, great movie. There's a pivotal scene where the lead character, a skinhead played by Ed Norton, gets asked a very simple question regarding his life choices.

"Has anything you've done, made your life better?". Sounds like a fairly simple question, but it's actually a very powerful and insightful one. This is the moment where everything changes for him, he realizes that all his hatred and bigotry hasn't made his life any better. When I saw the 3000th thread on this topic by OP, I thought of this scene, and thought it was applicable here too.

If OP were ever reflective or humble enough to ask himself this question, I have no doubt he'd come to the same conclusion. There's NO way this actually makes his life any better :lol In reality it does the exaxt opposite.

How many gms would not sign James to max years for max dollars any year that had the cap space? If the answer is 0 then OP is a dumb ass.

Lebron is box office

He can also build a solid organic contender and 1 seed like he did in Cleveland by 2010.

But to win chips, he needs juggernaut scoring help because he can't carry the scoring load in the Finals (insufficient brand at carry-job volume to beat top teams)

And his brand also needs goat shooting help.

No GM can provide this without Lebron and Klutch helping via collusion

Carry on

What are you basing this on and why are you assuming what his personal life is like? Or are you just offended because he points out the flaws of Bron Bron and you being a total mark gets deeply offended? You’re replying to him? You’re wasting time on this board posting as well? You should only worry about asking that question of yourself. Don’t worry about another man’s life.

That post was originally made by Southbeach, but it's 100% true. OP makes the same damn thread over and over again, anyone can see he has some sort of mental illness and you guys are doing 3ball a disservice by encouraging him instead of asking him to get some help, just because you dislike Bron. It shows your true character, you hate a person you have never met so much (Bron) that you would rather see a fellow poster fall into insanity rather than see him get some help.

You don't see me making the same redundant posts/threads over and over again.

Ultimately, you're just mad that someone can come on here and easily destroy all the bullshit you heard on TV about Lebron being on Jordan's level.. You guys have no response to any of my Lebron trashing because it's all true - his Finals record is a direct reflection of the low team ceilings that his rudimentary skillset yields (lottery record on the championship level... 22-33 overall.... 20-21 without 07', 15', 18')

All your topics have been responded to, YEARS ago. The difference is posters who have responded aren't crazy enough to repeat themselves over and over again after you make the exact same topic a few weeks later, they don't have loose screws like you do. Seriously, get some help.

My threads in recent years present new facts, so you're delusional about people responding to me effectively

1-9 isn't a response

No one has responded to any of the facts I've presented throughout the years and this thread is a prime example

I remember when I showed that Lebron's abnormal ball-dominance (hold-time) reduced teammate hold-time and assists, therefore yielding low TEAM assists and a brand that gets massively out-assisted in the Finals... There's no response to this because it's all facts... All I get is 1-9 or banned

And he still managed to beat GOAT ball-movement teams "superior brand of ball" in the 2013 Spurs and 2016 Warriors in the Finals, a fact you always run away from.

And why haven't you responded to me catching you lying about stats again in another thread?

Completely disregards Magic's playmaking abilities, but you know what's worse? You lying about stats again.

Worthy averaged 23.6 ppg in '87 postseason, you rounded that up to 24.
Magic averaged 21.8 ppg in '87 postseason (also dished out 12 apg), you rounded that down to 21.

Shameful.

you're just citing the few times he won

It's like citing individual wins from a lottery team's season - Lebron has a lottery record in the Finals

4/10 means that he barely meets the underdog expectation that his weak brand yields

His teams start off as the favorite and falls to underdog due to bad brand

He's 22-33 overall in the Finals and 20-21 without 07', 15', 18'

So he yields low team ceilings regardless of cast

If you look at actual facts, he won 2 titles when he was an underdog (2012 & 2016)

Lost only 1 title where he was a favorite.

You're stupid enough to believe pre-season favorite is more accurate than the Vegas line right before the Finals starts.

And you still haven't answered why you lied about those Magic & Worthy stats.
