My 11 year old son, soon to be 12, has started watching late 70s to early 90s action movies with me. I told him "these movies will put hair on your chest. I grew up on these and your grandma and grandpa didn't care what I saw as a kid." We've only seen Rambo 1 and 2 so far. Here's a list of what we're planning on watching. What am I missing? Oh....my 9 year son is getting intrigued by what we're watching too.

those are great movies to start with. personally id walk around shirtless pounding my chest to let my son witness tru alphaness, but thats just me. the rambos are good to start with.
