Well... Yeah... So... I guess we can see why the Spurs are tanking, right? That Scoot Henderson kid is no slouch either...

God damn. Both of these guys looked like absolute beasts out there. Wembanyama blew me away with his dribbling, shooting ability, and with how up he gets with his blocks. Looked like a KD/Gobert hybrid out there. Scary as ****

We're about to see an all-time tank season from half the league

They both looked ready to go for an NBA franchise that is picking in at the top of the lottery... Aren't they looking to be able to take 18 year old players out of HS again? Some elite examples for sure.

And the Wembenyama interview afterwards is pretty awesome too.

any tanking team should be looking to trade their role player veterans imo.

I personally think Scoot is the better long term prospect. Wemby might be a smoother Porzingis but I see Scoot as a bigger Iverson. His body looks strong unlike Morant where you don't fear he's gonna injure himself. I like his stop on a dime after going full speed. He's got a perfect midrange. Personally I think he's better than Zion at that age

He's too big. No one his size has ever lived up to their potential and stayed healthy

Doesn't mean someone can't.

no it doesn't. Worth the risk? I'd take the guard

Interesting. You'd take the good looking guard instead of a potential generational player?

Westbrick's trade value should go through the roof.
You are GUARANTEED to suck and increase the odds of drafting Wembenyama or Scoot with him on the roster.

somewhat trolling but not wrong. Indiana or SA or Utah should consider only taking 1 first rounder in a westbrook trade

I'd pick dude, but I'd tell him to stay out of the paint as much as possible. I wanna see him catching and shooting over people from the high post. I don't want him getting elbowed, I'd have him playing PF against strong Cs, and I don't want him putting on weight beyond filling out. I haven't looked @ other dude, but it's a hard sell to take him over a 7'4 player who can play in the NBA today.

If he does that, he will be amazing. If he tries to do whatever people think dudes should do, he is gonna ruin his body and maybe have some amazing highlights but burn out/blow out.

Wemby has all-time great level potential but there's a big concern with his height. Guys that tall don't usually last that long. I think in the long-term Scoot is going to be a better pick.

Without seeing him play, reminds me of a Ralph Sampson description.

Wemb won't stay healthy. NBA is too fast and intense nowadays. Also Wemb's style is gonna hurt his health even more. Shit Chet couldn't even make it to the season without getting hurt.

Honestly it's dumb being 7'4" or whatever Wemb is and trying to play so perimeter oriented. It's not efficient for his body.

So I'm choosing Scoot if I have to pick between them.

Another day... Another highlight reel, see a lot more offensive arsenal in this game than the last. Not sure if there are highlights of Scoot Henderson for game 2..
