This is probably the most insane LeBron accomplishment that is not talked about.
1 John Stockton 15,806
2 Jason Kidd 12,091
3 CHRIS PAUL 10,977
4 Steve Nash 10,335
5 Mark Jackson 10,334
6 Magic Johnson 10,141
7 LeBRON JAMES 10,045
290 more assists and he will be top 4 all time in assists.
# 1 in scoring, and top 4 in assists. The entire top 20 in assists are point guards, and LeBron about to do it as a small forward.
Jordan would need to play 11 more seasons to surpass LeBron in Assists. And people argue Jordan is as good as LeBron as a playmaker :oldlol:
Give it up Jordan fans. This season is the last time people will be talking about Jordan being the GOAT.

The second most impressive combo in these categories is Oscar Robertson: 13th in scoring and 8th in assists.

You know what's a REALLY impressive longevity stat? Westbrook having the most triple doubles of all time. Will that one ever be broken?

Top 4*
There's ~20 players with 19 seasons played.
None of them are top 5 in both points and assists.
None of them are top 10 in both points and assists.
The longevity argument has been totally refuted, as easily as a grade 2 math problem.

#4 in assists.
18 all-nba teams
27ppg career average
A totally impossible career.
Jordan's career is replicable, a high PPG scorer can just join a super team for the minimum and win multiple championships.
LeBron's career simply is not replicable.

Lebron sure couldn't replicate it, despite two decades of trying.
By the way, how many three-peats did Bronie manage to pull off?

Kareem was #1 in points and #3 in rebounds with 2 more rings, which literary confirms that Lebron's lesser achievement isn't goat

LeBron sure tried and failed :oldlol:
MJ accomplished more in less time, LeBron has longevity, no doubt about it, but peak play, MJ > LBJ and it's not up for debate.
Wonder if Doncic can one day break those numbers, he is one who started recording things at a young age.

I'm not sure Doncic has the physical discipline to have a lengthy career. Judging by how fat he lets himself get in the off-season, it's not a recipe for good longevity.

Yeah, off-court habits matter to maintain a long career.

Luka has approximately 0% chance of breaking the scoring record.
He has like 3-4 thousand points less than LeBron when LeBron was the same age he is now.
He would need several 82 game 35 ppg seasons just to get back on track to breaking the record. And that would be the easy part. The hard part would be maintaining a bunch of 25+ ppg seasons when he hits mid 30s.
And on top of all this he has missed a bunch of games so far, during a part of his career where he shouldn't be missing games. That doesn't look good for his longevity prospects when he hits his 30s.
