What are examples of NBA championship teams that won a title without their most expensive highest salaried player playing for the majority of the playoffs?

Not sure if it's about Curry & Durant both having early injuries in the playoffs' initial rounds, but the Warriors still won the series with one of them missing.


Think Curry 2016(but did not win the title), and returned vs Blazers. Durant the next year's first round got injured.

I had a cursory look but did not see anything addressing the topic directly. How many instances have there been where a team won the championship despite the player paid the most not being much of a factor for the playoffs?
