a massive chucker that ONLY had to score and didn't have to do anything else.... AND he was hard to play with... :facepalm
The problem is that teammates grew by leaps and bounds alongside Jordan.. Every significant contributor to the 1st three-peat began as a single-digit rookie, so ONLY JORDAN had to grow single-digit rookies to viable producers to win - everyone else in history was gifted ready-made stars (except maybe Isiah and Curry).
So that debunks the notion that he was hard to play with - his on-ball and off-ball diversity fit with any teammate or system, so his teammate development and teammate fits was literally goat-level - no one had to develop single-digit rookies to win titles except Jordan.. And who cares that he yelled and took a Bobby Knight approach??.. He was dealing with single-digit rookies (bums) and had to crack the whip.. Infact, Phil Jackson told MJ that his teammates sucked and they needed to conspire together on how to make the cast better ballplayers (here (https://i.makeagif.com/media/8-28-2022/V2Jnjt.gif))..
"WOULD you... COULD you.... pretty please... can lend your talents to the triangle?.. Here's how it would work"
Instead of getting Phil fired like David Blatt, Jordan had the skillset to be coached (expert jumpshooting skill and off-ball).
Now let's look at the notion that he ONLY had to score... The opposite is true.. He averaged 33/6/6 in the playoffs with low turnovers and led the Bulls in assists for 6 of 9 playoff runs from 88-98' - he also led Lebron in assists for the first 9 years of their playoff career (85-93' vs 06-14').. His only passing help was a 5-assist guy (Pippen), who averaged less assists than Wade, Kyrie, Rondo or Westbrook, while also averaging less assists than Jordan for their Finals career, playoff career, and regular season career.. So Jordan had less passing help than most superstars and was the only elite playmaker on the Bulls - if the Bulls needed 8 assists per game, then Jordan was the only option.
Then there's defense - Lebron wasn't required to be a good defender in his 30's (no all-defense in his 30's), while Jordan was required to be a top 7 DPOY from 88-98'.
Then there's rebounding - Jordan played with 2 good rebounders that could average 8+ rebounds per game (Grant and Rodman), while Lebron played with Zydrunas, Gooden, Boozer, Jamison, Shaq, Varejao, Bosh, Birdman, Haslem, Love, Mosgov, Tristan, AD, McGee, and more!!... Jordan also had zero rim protection for his entire career, while Lebron enjoyed tons of rim protection.
TLDR: Jordan had less scoring help, passing help, rebounding help, and rim protection, while having the best teammate fits, teammate development and coachability EVER
