Pippen's team defense was better, and he might have been a better playmaker. But ya not a whole lot. The narrative is that Pippen was the all-around player while Jordan just scored. Objectively, though, MJ was the superior all-around player. And was clearly better in more facets.

I try to respect people's opinions, however. When people try to make Pippen out to be the worst 2nd option in history, I think they carry it too far. Looking at you 3ball. Then there are those who say, well Pippen is not as good as Jordan at doing this or doing that. Of course he's not, your comparing him to the GOAT for christ's sake.I look at it like Pippen was a top 5 to top 10 player some years during the 90's, and Jordan would not have won 6 Titles without him.
