Harden had a nice night obviously, altho he's playing with last year's MVP runner up, so is he really that 'valuable?'
Curry had a decent point total but his night was not really as impressive as all that (only one offensive rebound for example; Lebron by comparison had 4).
Lebron James had an epic opening night with 31/14/8. I think when you look at everything in context he's easily leading the race for the game's most prestigious award at this point in time.
Your thoughts?

Based on the 4 of 30 teams that have played thus far...Tatum.

Yeah he's basically Lebron Lite but I think when you have two guys who are similar, you gotta respect the seniority and go with the original.
Lebron gets the nod.

winning MVP for a lottery team would be quite the accolade for Lebron

Last night was a statement game by LeBron.. I don't think anyone can catch him in the MVP race now but there are still games to play

It might be an interesting season of Tatum vs Luka.
Kobe vs McGrady 2003-esque vibe.

While someone else (Giannis, Embiid, Jokic, etc.) wins it?

I expect 35/15/10/0/82 from Lebron this season

Harden and LeBron are automatically disqualified since they both lost
So Curry

Agreed. It's not 'technically' over, but realistically it's gonna be hard for anyone to catch him at this point. He pretty much sealed the deal with last night's heroics.

Methinks Lebron will have to win a game before he gets mentioned in the MVP discussion. That could take awhile. :oldlol:

LeBron obv locked up the MVP last night, better question is who will finish 2nd in voting.

I’m looking for Lebron to accomplish two things this season, MVP and most team losses in history for a team led by an MVP. So far he is on track

Tatum
Brown
Curry
Not the two James losers who lost
