Irving had to be a big time scorer every game. Any time he and Durant aren't both dominating the Nets will be in trouble. A bad defensive team had to score a lot of points. Simmons should help the defense in theory but to be a good defensive team you have to play multiple good defenders. If they weren't headcases that have tanked their own trade values it would be a good idea to trade Simmons or Irving to either become solid offensively or defensively...

But Irving isn't going to play like this normally. Simmons probably will but not Irving.

Nets showed all of last season that they have no heart. Simmons is possibly the softest player in NBA history. They have earned this reputation. Tonight's loss is just a sorry example.

But even I don't think they are a bad team. Irving is an offensive genius, if him and KD play 70 games they should be a playoff team.
