79 New Orleans Pelicans 59 Brooklyn Nets
Zion Williamson is a man among boys
Kyrie Irving already quit. The nets will eventually trade him, and if he only wants the Lakers, it will be for Westbrook.

Not looking good for Manny. Good thing he's slyly tried to hop on the Steph bandwagon in recent weeks.

Not happening unless the Lakers give up first round picks. Because of all the player forced trades the Nets don't have their own picks. Meaning they get nothing out of tanking. And with all that Irving has put them through while collecting his money they would be justified in feeling resentful. Make LA give them whatever 1st round picks they still have the rights to and if Irving sulks about it... what's changed, really? He's given them nothing for three years straight.

Kyrie is a free agent some 2023. and outside the Lakers no one bidding. And Lakers have 36 million cap space come summer, 38 if the trade away Jones contract too.

Then they can sign him in 2023. Nets have no reason to care.

Lakers offered one future 1st rounder IIRC. Nets didn't want it. You would probably need to bring a 3rd team in with assets Nets would want.

I think Miami will get into the Kyrie Picture.

True. Unless someone else comes in with a great rebuilding trade for KD the Nets are in the unique position of having been screwed so hard by player empowerment that their players no longer have any power.

It would be interesting to see how Pat Riley deals with Kyrie Irving. If they can't get him cheap I'm not sure that Riley would want to. Riley doesn't put up with bs.

This is literally what Lebron could be playing with rn if the Lakers trash front office didnt deal away their whole core for AD :facepalm

But...Bran pushed for that trade, just like he did with Westbrook :facepalm
Could have kept BI and signed AD as a FA if they waited a year :facepalm:facepalm:facepalm

The obstacles LeBron has had to overcome in his career is mind blowing.

BI might not have even worked so well with LeBron. Got a ring without him anyway. Probably worked out better for BI's development also.

Uhh no, those are simply irresponsible rumors leaked by the Lakers GM to scapegoat Lebron. In reality he does not involve himself in those kinds of decisions. AD was acquired without his consent, and altho Bron did drag him to a ring, it’s clear that was a much harder road than playing with prime Ingram and Zion which he should be doing right now

It might be game one but HOW they played was not unexpected. This team has no 4 or 5 and has zero cohesion.
They looked last night EXACTLY as I expected. A sub 500 team.
I was shocked they brought in no 4 and 5. It was the Net's saying we are going to mail in teh season.
Oh, and let's not forget. We still have the worst coach in the NBA.
