Drop 25+ Points, 5+ Rebounds, and 5+ Assists in their debut.

Getting 27/9/5 on 11/18 shooting, 2 blocks.

I picked Ivey for Rookie of the Year right before I posted my prediction, even though I've watched footage of Banchero in the off-season and believe he'll be an all-star by his 3rd year...

An update to this stat:

Since 1969, only 3 number one picks have dropped 25+ points, 5+ rebounds, and 5+ assists in their NBA debut. Banchero joins Kareem and LeBron.

the guy is great but what also helps is theres nobody in the Magic worth mentioning. so the kid will join many lists and break some records too.

But that is typical of a team that gets a number one pick... So.

It's kinda weird because Banchero is really not a hyped #1 pick, but, I recall the hype from the draft year that had Wiggins, Jabari Parker, and Embiid. Is Banchero better than both Wiggins and Parker?

As a prospect maybe not. Although when he turned it on he was the best player in the country. He played pretty unselfishly a lot of the time at Duke.

He'll be a better player than both though.

Orlando has Wagner who was on the All-Rookie team last year and Carter Jr. is probably a top 10 center right now. They have one of the best young front courts with the addition of Banchero

That looks impressive.

There's a lot of Lebron in there and Blake Griffin, but not as athletic, though seems very strong.

Plays like a vet, big like a vet.

Could be the real deal.

Certainly looks like the real deal to me. The NBA has some really promising prospects right now. It's the beginning of the next era.

This could be the best rookie class in a while. Paolo, Ivey, Mathurin, and Murray all look awesome. Jabari will be a slower starter but I think he'll be really good too.

A bunch of good second year players too. Last year's rookie class has some budding stars.

Franz could be good player and Wendell is decent. Cole is too small inconsistent and shouldn't be a starter. Suggs is trash, and fultz and Isaac are made of glass

Not bad but no excuse losing to Detroit. There was no one there he should have had close to 40 or 50 if he learned to play like a traditional big with his back to the basket. Run hard, seal his man, and then go up. Players nowadays make their jobs way harder than it needs to be.

Literally a teenager in his first ever pro basketball game. Chill.

He’ll learn these things
