Like Curry

A great shooter like Curry or KD makes Finals with Westbrook

Agreed. They do need shooting. Would be in their best interest to move Westbrook for a couple of 3&Ds. Also, what do you think about Lonnie Walker and his potential? From what I've seen, he's got an amazing first step with incredible finishing ability.

lebron never learned how to play off ball, create space or hit contended jumpshots. what makes you think lebron can foster a great shooting team

Cool. I probably exaggerated about his first step, but he is definitely quick. Monk isnt a bad comparison though.

That's why I don't understand why Curry doesn't get more credit for being as good or better than Lebron.. Lebron's weakness are glaring and it affects team ceiling. curry WILL PASS lebron in ring count with guys like Andrew Wiggins as his best teammate and he already did it with Klay in 2015.. Curry's skillset simply needs less help due to superior strategy, teammate development, and chemistry.. yeah Lebron won his conference a lot but how many times did he do it before teaming up with the top two 1st options in his conference

You're right, the Lakers do need shooting. Particularly if AD is going to continue to inexplicably be a terrible shooter from every spot.

Someone like Desmond Bane would be so much better than Westbrook for this team. Not only is he a dead eye shooter but he's young and a good perimeter defender. The Grizzlies would obviously never make that trade

2020 Los Angeles Lakers were a great 3 points shooting team. They made 86 3 pointers in the nba finals.

They were 23rd in 3PA and 21st in 3PT% in the RS lol. Some of their players went off from 3 in the bubble and they played an injured Heat team in the Finals.

Bran needs elite shooters around him. Heck, any contending team needs to have at least 3 capable shooters around their best player/ballhandler to keep the defense honest in today's NBA. Lakers didn't really have the shooting in 2020 but guys like AD and Rondo shot above their average in the POs and it was good enough because of their elite defense and their ability to score in transition.

If I were the Lakers, I'd offload AD and Lebron and Westbrook and start from scratch.

You’re not getting much for any of them though. Pelicans already have the picks next year. Gonna be a lean couple years.

But they were lottery last year, and if AD can't stay healthy, which is seems nobody is expecting him to be, then they may not do a whole lot better this year.

Even if you don't get much for them, it certainly can't be any worse, and their trade value is only going to go down the longer you wait. You should at least be able to get a solid younger player or two.

As important as the three is in today's game, and as much as these players practice it, Lebron is terrible at them.

Terrible? Nah, you don't know what you're talking about, per usual :lol Giannis is an example of a terrible 3 point shooter.

Lebron can't give the team what it needs - elite jumpshooting skill and fostering a better jumpshooting environment (ball movement) - seems impossible that this bricklayer and stone hands can be the 2nd best to ever touch a ball

This fakkit once again completely contradicting himself, putting an emphasis on elite jumpshooting while having Giannis in his top 10 :lol

You didn’t even have to jump to Giannis lol. Could have just named the lakers roster.

So as a forward he's supposed to be judged now solely by his three-point fg% and not other interesting factors like being clutch or all-around on the floor? Got it.

He's below average.

3-pt% League average from 2003-2022 is .357, Lebron is a career .346 shooter.

You're deflecting. Don't be a crybaby. Also nobody said he's on curry's level from behind the arc.
