Memphis without JJJ and Dillion Brooks do not have enough defensive players to compete with Dallas. It's really a bad match up for them with the injuries.

The Mavs are on a back to back too. Memphis is a very good team but Ja is 1 dimensional. Yesterday he was hitting his 3s but that's not the norm he depends on athletism and driving in the paint. I love Ja, he is the most exciting player in the league but I got to keep it real.

I was wrong, I thought the Mavericks played yesterday. I have to agree with you based on the fact that the Mavericks were resting.
It is still a very bad look, watching the game live Memphis was totally destroyed and Ja just disappeared after the 1st 3 minutes.

I would have to see Morant in the playoffs more before I'd make that choice. Based on regular season, you'd have to say Tatum due to much better defense, but Tatum's a playoff choker. We still have to see how Morant handles that kind of pressure. So far I believe he's only been in one playoff series.

Desmond Bane and Brandon Clarke have both sucked major balls so far in comparison to their last season, despite having aged 1 year in a good way. Holy shit, I just looked it up - Bane is shooting .265 from the floor over his first 3 games. :eek:
They need JJJ and Brandon Clarke fast, but if Ja can keep them going single-handedly, their absence will boost his MVP odds.
