Lakers are so much more competent defensively than last year. They play very hard and that's a testament to Ham's coaching. Unfortunately they're straight up garbage on the other end, led by LeBron himself who just looks toothless if he's not in transition. He's been declining for a long time but maybe the cliff has finally arrived.

I guess he’s just pacing himself but hopefully he activates Roid mode in the second half and attacks the paint more.

Last year they had a bunch of old dudes that could shoot and score but play no defense.

This year they have a bunch of young guys that can play defense but can't shoot or score lol .

They solved one problem and created another.

Apparently lakers have already attempted 100 3 pointers in these first 3 games, on a 25% clip. Absolutely abysmal. Ham needs to shut off the green light on this 3 point shooting. I don’t care if they’re getting good looks. They are being killed by their shooting and need to attack the paint more

You give 2008-2018 LeBron this roster and they'd be top 3 in the West, even with the shooting woes. LeBron's ability to lift an offense was that good. Now he's just old.

How many bad plays did WB make down the stretch? He took a wide open 16-footer and left enough time on the clock for LA to get the ball back, not the worst decision ever but he did miss.

Bran took a step-back 3 and a fadeaway long 2 in the last minute and got beat by Jerami ****ing Grant..

WB had another horrible game but Bran tried to be the hero and lost at the end.. Lakers went away from AD when he always owns Nurk 1 on 1..

Lakers were up 98-90 with 4:42 left when WB checked back in. Were outscored 16-6 the rest of the way. In that time WB scored 0 points, missed both his FGA and grinded LA's offense to a halt because teams don't have guard him. His man was literally standing 15 feet off him on every possession. Lakers only scored 5 points the last 4:42 after looking pretty darn solid the entirety of late 3rd qtr and 4th when WB was on the bench. It's totally disingenuous to pretend WB's only hiccup was that moronic last shot when he kills the team in so many other ways.

Durant went to the Finals with baby Westbrook and bench Harden - so Durant can still contend with other ball-dominators and Lebron can't (inferior)

Anyone who denies that it was a dumb decision and an extremely low IQ move by Westbrook is just a certified idiot at this point. No one would have called it a bad decision if it went in. It's a wide open 16-footer for crying out loud. It's crazy how that's considered a bad decision but the Bran step-back 3 or the fadeaway shot to tie the game don't get mentioned once.

You'll really just say anything to argue won't you.

Yes, if it went in it's still a bad decision. The "NO NO NO..YES" aspect of things doesn't make it a good shot.

But add in that Russ has been shooting at an absolutely awful clip? STFU dude :lol

It's a wide open 16-footer. The 2 horrible shots Bran took were both lower-percentage plays.

It's the situation more than the actual shot. You don't pull up with 27 seconds left when you're up and have 14 seconds left on the shot clock. Particularly if you're a terrible shooter.

You know that it was really dumb.

And I know that you know.

Lebron needs to adopt the mamba mentality and threaten to leave the team unless they improve the roster, like Kobe did before they brought in Gasol

Russ missed, who cares. They still tied the game after that and even had another chance to win the game.

I'd have a bigger question about them not pressuring Dame and giving him a relatively easy look from 3 on the next possession with Lonnie Walker covering him 1 on 1, or them having Reaves inbound on the last play for Lebron to attempt a fadeaway 18-footer to tie the game.

It's funny because I know you don't believe what you're saying.

It's like in debate class where you're tasked with arguing against evolution or the sky being blue or some shit.

Can the Lakers become the first team to ever go through an entire season without winning a game?

Russell Westbrick is one of the leagues all time low IQ players. They arenÂ’t even guarding him because he is a CLOWN. ItÂ’s not that they arenÂ’t guarding him because he canÂ’t shoot. They arenÂ’t guarding because they know he Will shoot.

And miss.

ItÂ’s hilarious. ItÂ’s reached a point where Russell Westbrick shooting the ball is comparable to DeAndre Jordan shooting jumpers.

If you knew every time you didnÂ’t guard DeAndre Jordan from
15 feet and out he was going to shoot it, especially in key moments, you would stand as far away from him as possible and let him do it.

The difference is, if DeAndre Jordan started chucking the ball every time he was open, heÂ’d hit the bench and be out of the league.

Westbroke takes the bait every time. He just canÂ’t help himself. Especially when he thinks he might be the hero. A 2 for -. Bro what kind of Goof ball are you lol .. If the Lakers keep running Westbroke out there, theyÂ’ll keep losing.

Russell Westbrook said that he was looking for a 2-for-1 opportunity when he attempted the midrange shot with 27.3 seconds remaining, and about 18 seconds on the shot clock, and missed it.

Unbelievable that you would have a veteran thinking this way.....

Dame set a screen on Pat Bev to allow 'Brick to chuck it. Nurk didn't even step up to 'Brick to contest the shot.
Ham willingly allowed this dude to enter the game, meeting their opponents 99% of the way. :facepalm

No one would have called it a bad decision if it went in. It's a wide open 16-footer for crying out loud. It's crazy how that's considered a bad decision but the Bran step-back 3 or the fadeaway shot to tie the game don't get mentioned once.

Sure, but that doesn't guarantee a win either. They run out the clock and Bran bricks another step-back 3 and now Dame wins it on the last shot at the buzzer and it's the same outcome.please stop trolling you ****ing idiot, it’s HS basketball IQ to not take a ****ing midrange when you’re up 1 with 30 seconds left in the ****ing 4th quarter, and even more so with how poor of a shooter westbrook is in general :lol

lebarry’s shot was horrible but stop trying to deflect from what westbrook did to make lebron look worse, no shit he took a horrible ill-advised chuck :lol
