Westbrook is part of the problem, but not the sole problem. He is more of a symptom of the Lakers core problem. They need shooters that fit LeBron and AD playstyle. Even if you take Westbrook out of the lineup, the Lakers will still suck because the players that's there don't fit with the stars playstyle. Teams will just sag off. Give them open shots.

They have the defense, but hopefully they can find 3nD guys. And they gotta hope AD stays healthy. His jumper has been off too.

Westbrook's biggest value is his contract, not his skillset.

A 47M Expiring contract may be nice for teams rebuilding... but in this league there really are no stars playing for noncontending teams like the 90s.
