Guys like 3ball, xiao and kblaze always work hard to feed you original content for you bottom feeders to sustain your pathetic trolling lives. You should be grateful for players like Lebron, gobert and posters like xiao and Mask the embiid. And myself as well for being true to the YDK fam.

so i'll do a break down of poeltl's shots because why not

poeltl scores with gobert switched on to someone else
poeltl scores twice from 2 offensive rebounds good hustle
poeltl scores on a nice post move on gobert
poeltl scores on 2 mid range floaters on gobert
poeltl scores on a dunk lazy perimeter d to stop the drive got gobert out of position

so let's say 10 of his 14 points were on gobert

a nice block by gobert on a running hook shot by poeltl not that anyone cares

4/4 pretty sure that's the highest fg% you can have unless 101% is a thing

It’s strange Gobert doesn’t get more credit for his rebounding considering it’s a category he led the NBA in last season, and, he owns the fourth-best rebounding percentage (https://www.basketball-reference.com/leaders/trb_pct_career.html) in NBA history.

But, Gobert’s production on the glass hasn’t gone unnoticed in Minnesota.

After corralling 15 rebounds in Sunday night’s victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, Gobert has set a franchise record for the most rebounds by a Timberwolves player through three games to open the season.

— Minnesota Timberwolves (@Timberwolves) October 24, 2022 (https://twitter.com/Timberwolves/status/1584380754087542784?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)

Gobert is the early league leader in rebounding average at 18.0 boards per game, including the 24 he grabbed against the Jazz on Friday night.

The former Jazz center is having exactly the type of impact the Wolves hoped he would when they traded for him.

Last season Minnesota ranked 21st in rebounding percentage at 49.0, but have jumped to fifth in the NBA this year at 52.4.

That Garnett guy was a pretty great rebounder too no? Not to mention Love. I didn't think he'd lead again this year with an actual PF on the floor with him instead of COTM's 6'4 version

And for the Timberwolves (2-1), Gobert is leading the league in rebounds per game by a wide margin. Gobert is averaging a whopping 18 boards per contest, with second-place Joel Embiid way back at 13.3.
According to Basketball Reference (https://twitter.com/Twolves_PR/status/1584553298962837504?s=20&t=XMFdCBHF4_GimcqmUFBfhg), Gobert’s 54 rebounds are the most through a player’s first three games with a new team since 1996, when Charles Barkley had 65 with the Houston Rockets.

Shame that legendary rebounding ability could only help him muster up half the rebounds of Jakob Poeltl
