Chalk up another loss for the Nets, but check out what MVP-Favorite Morant did:
38 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals.
While Durant had:
37 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, 0 steals.
Love him or hate him, Morant is coming into his element.

KD/Morant/Kyrie/Bane all scored 37+ on high efficiency, acting like one of them decisively outplayed the others is ridiculous.

4 guys scoring that much in one game is pretty rare. Almost 4 40 point games. Wonder how many times that’s happened.

I wasn't talking about a direct matchup on the floor. Just a comparison of how the two teams' best players did.

Dude, what is going on with your Spurs? 3-game win streak with wins over Philly and the wolves...

Interesting stat.
I'm also glad Bane finally screwed his head on straight this game.

I dunno man, this tanking isn't going too well.
They won't be able to keep up the consistency, I'm so torn on how I feel right about now

Pretty insane.

One week into the NBA season Ja has been the best player in the league but your proclamation is moronic. Durant was 14 of 20, Ja, 12 of 22.
Fact is, you had 4 players playing lights out BB last night and the best player on the court was Bane. He was 14 of 21. But his points ensured the victory not Ja's. (Kyrie had 37, 14 of 24)
Anyway, all 4 were spectacular. It was the first time since 1983 that 4 players had 35 or more points.

The game was fantastic. 4 players killing it.
The Net's lost and will continue to lose because they have no 4 or 5. I have never before seen a basketball team that had no 4 or 5. Why Net's management did not feel it necessary to find a PF or C I can't say except to save money.
Their season ticket sales are the lowest in the league as a result, down 30% from last year.

Ja is a superstar in the making. His speed and highfly act remind me of a young Dwyane Wade. Not as built obviously, but Ja has that "extra gear" and bounce to his step.

Ja has more heart than any superstar in the league going, right now.
