I actually missed out all this by one season, I started following the league in the 1999-2000.:( But I remember reading in magazines that VC's and Jason Williams had sick rookie years in the shortened season in 1998-99.

It was a pleasure watching him play. I never missed 1 game.. unlike the present, we didn't have the luxury to stream or watch highlights on YouTube.

I remember every game had at least 1 monster dunk from VC. Ja Morant is the closest thing we have to a VC today.
