I swear the exact same thing happened last season. He's questionable to play against the Timberwolves btw.

LeBron is cursed. :biggums:

Opposing Teams are packing the paint. I remember in year 1 with LA he developed a 3 point shot.

I truly do not understand why he got so bad at shooting. Maybe has something to do with the injuries and the lift he gets.

I think he’s been statistically the worst jump shooter in the league over the last 2 seasons, even worse than Westbrick. That’s the aspect of his game that’s regressed by far the most.

Lebron's also having the least efficient year of his career I believe. The whole Lakers team is a complete dumpster fire.

LeBron has 4 titles, 4 FMVPS and been on multiple superteams. 99.9% of the league would take his "curse" lol

Last year he was on a team with no fewer than FIVE future hall of famers.

And they ended up in the lottery.

It's not just his jump shooting (i.e.. in the context of the half court offense while being guarded), his free throw shooting has also inexplicably decreased. Before winning the title in 2020, he had six seasons where he shot above 79% from the stripe. If I'm not mistaken, in 2020 he was either the best or near best ft shooter on the Lakers at 84.6%. Since then he's been basically an average ft shooter with percentages of 73.8, 71.3 and 76.2.

It’s not just this year though. AD was terrible on jumpers last year too.

Holy shit. That's almost as low as his game-playing percentage. :facepalm

dont care the guy shooting %, my main worry is all his injures and how fragile and delicate he is. Lakers PLEASE TRADE him asap. package him up with Westbrook and try to get as many assets as possible. and if lebron gets upset about the trade, well buddy, you're 38 y/o already... in fact trade lebron as well. complete rebuild please... this team aint going nowhere. but fishing on june

You're not getting much in return for a 38 year old has been, an oft injured player and an inefficient chucker. Lakers are done.
