View Full Version : This just shows that Westbrick is way more effective coming off the bench

1. He is a terrible fit to have with LeBron and Day-to-Dayvis on the floor at the same time
2. He is just not good enough to start in general and is way more effective against the opponents' second units.

He shouldn't start another game where both LeBron and Day-to-Dayvis are playing.

"Westbrick" insult. Not many superstars would quickly accept a bench role like Russ did. I thought this goes the way it went with Melo in OKC or Iverson in Detroit.

You need to check into a mental institution. U come to this conclusion after one game? To the toilet I go

He should be benched if he's playing like trash in the 4th also.

You would have to have been in a coma for at least the last 2 years in order to think that Westbrick is still a "superstar". He wasn't even an all-star with the Wizards.
But the Iverson comparison is a good one though. He would end up exactly like the Pistons/Grizzlies Iverson if he doesn't accept a bench role.

He should have been an All Star in Washington.

Lol he clearly was an All-Star level player in Washington though. Was Hurt/injured early on in the season like the rest of the Wiz squad that had next to 0 odds of making the POs with how decimated they were but he averaged 23/14/14 on 52.5%TS post-ASB which is easily All-Star level. He's just a terrible fit next to Lebron as their skills overlap too much with neither of them being a consistent 3PT threat off the ball.

Man is making 47m a year and will end up playing 30 plus minutes. Easy to do this when you're bag is secured.

Wess has always been driven to compete so for him to get a significant amount of minutes off the bench is a good fit.
Yesterday was a perfect example ... and less pressure for him.

Russ is no longer a superstar. He doesn't have any other choice.

Another solid performance by Westbrick coming off the bench, where he should stay.

Can Darvin Ham genuinely convince/Debo Westbrick into fully embracing his “bro go get 6th man of the year” type role ?

Like when Billy Donovan mindfck’d this selfish, LOWEST IQ, team-chemistry-sacrificing, DL, freebase-baby-ears having MF, to chase triple doubles… instead of scoring titles ?
