It would be idiotic for the west to spend the foreign currency reserves they seized from Russia... this would obliterate global confidence in the western banking system and result in the vast majority of non-western nations taking their money out of western banks

No they wouldn't you dope, the west has the most stable and reliable financial system in the world. There's a reason the vast majority of the world is complying with western sanctions...the West runs the world economy.

This wouldn't be the first time they've done something like this either, and it never stopped the world then.
