Shaq was the face of the league at some point. As for who's next, foreign players will simply never have the popularity of Americans, and as it stands now, Giannis/Jokic/Luka are the superstars of the league for years to come.

I would say Tatum, but he keeps to himself mostly. If you want to be the face of the league, you have to have an opinion on most things that are going on nowadays.

Hard to say really since the best upcoming players aren't Americans (or even black Americans).

Giannis, Luka, Jokic? Not many black Americans are going to stan those guys.
