They made it to the finals two years ago (would have won if half the team didnt go down with injuries) and they were one bucket away from the finals last season, where they were killing it in the playoffs.

The Jimmy led Sixers team (lets not fool ourselves into thinking that was Embid's team) was a freak bounce from Kawhi away from the finals the year before. Had it went out, in the finals they would have steamrolled the decimated Warriors.

I mean you have to be pretty stupid to dismiss a Jimmy team after all these years. But its the same people who don't see him as one of the top 5-10 players in the league that do this, so...

Rose absolutely hasn't been great in over a decade, nice try sneaking that in. Rose had a 47.9 TS% in 2016, that's a bum. Credit to him for taking things more seriously after he almost was out of the league but he still wasn't anything special, just a decent 6th man type. This is true tbh. Dude can never see anything other than what is happening in the current season, no matter how small the sample size. Reggie Jackson sucks, Blake Griffin sucks, Lonnie Walker is unplayable cause def. stats say so; he misses so much of truth with this short, small-minded approach.

You keep building your opinions from peripheral/heuristic evidence. "he can't get minutes" well maybe theres more to it than just he sucks. there is coach there is tactics, and sometimes there are circumstances involving the players themselves that change, so giving these definitive verdicts just based on the current thing is being a prisoner of the moment.
