Y’all expectations for him are way too high.. yall think he’s capable of being giannis when he’s not… expect less out of him and u won’t be let down so much just pretend he’s Draymond without the rebounding, interior defense, or 3 point shooting and u wont be so disappointed in him
Y’all think this guy is way better than he really is and I’ve been telling y’all that for years. If you need to build your entire offense around someone just for them to be able to produce stats, then they’re not reallly good… point blank period

He looks scared to score. There's already been plenty of plays he's had this season where he'll have a decent look at the rim, and he'll still look to pass the ball up. When he drives to the rim, he looks to avoid even the slightest bit of contact. I think he's afraid to shoot free throws.

I don’t think anyone had crazy high expectations. Just no one expected him to have a lower ceiling than Rondo

The Nets are terrible.
He can’t shoot- we already knew that.
He’s still great on defense. And he can still pass well. I’d like him on my team if I didn’t have to give anything up to get him. Lol

He is a tall young man, who has already made more money than he can spend in a lifetime plus he is seemingly popular with women.
Why should he care?
He never seemed to be that into basketball, it was the media that built him up to be this phenom. He had a disappointing college season.

He's mentally weak and afraid of looking bad.
He would rather not try and fail instead of making an attempt at getting better and winning.
He's the worst type of player in the NBA because he's completely coasting and a loser. There are SO many other guys out there who work way harder than Simmons and would kill to be in the NBA.

He's not healthy. He's essentially a taller & a more athletic version of Draymond but people want him to be a scorer when that's not his strength. He'll never be THAT guy.

They both made that sh!t work, more or less. Due to each of em having giant chips on their shoulder.
Ben is cognitively female, but doesn’t have a giant chip on his shoulder like Russ & Dray do. Can he get one ? Let’s get him in some really damaging fistfights, and find out.

This. An absolute waste. I went to the Mavs vs Nets game in person, sat 5 rows back, and he was just scared and mentally broken.
Sad to see for the guy on the court that stood above as the best athlete by far.

Bad situations and toxic teams..it's November and he's coming off a year layoff on a KD team if they move him he'll likely turn it around. But that means the Nets have to blow up and rebuild and I don't see them going that way.
