At the risk of exposing ignorance I am not sure why Vonleh isn't playing and vs Cleveland size the Cs could use him. He had liked serviceable so far. If he's completely in the doghouse or hurt the Cs need to bring in a big badly.

I'd like to see plays run through Mobley more. Mitchell's not the only one who should be scoring. At least Garland's carrying a good share of the offensive load tonight.

He kind of quit on the team for a stretch of games 2 seasons ago. But he had some mental issues as well IIRC.
Since last season he is really blossoming in that bench role. I hope he stays in Cleveland till he hangs it up.

You were such a die hard Lebron stan for a long time, like years and years. He won a chip/fmvp just a few years ago. You use to always shit on Kobe/Jordan to prop Bron up...so what happened? Feels like I only see talk shit about Bron now and try to stan KD/Kyrie for some reason?

What a weird back and forth game. Its like each team completely shuts down for a couple minutes, then turns it back on.

Smart is the biggest bitch in this league. He should be fined for his ****ing flopping.

Luckily he made an awful offensive decision afterwards. That flop could have decided the game.

You didn't see him tie the game in regulation and preserve the toe with a block. You just looked up stats and ignored what he did rebounding blocking shots and getting assists. You're typical M.O.

What guy? The guy that made first team AllNBA and lead his team to the finals? What other guy are we talking about? He just had 26 points 10 boards 6 assists 4 blocks and it was his worst game of the season that you have been breathlessly waiting for to act as if this somehow proves he's not... what, exactly?

Tatum has done more winning than most of the hall of fame. He was doing 26/10/5 in the playoffs going to the ecf at 21. He was in the finals at 24. What exactly proves you wrong?

It would take quite a fall off for his trajectory not to lead him to all time great status. He’s on a trajectory of at least like…Clyde Drexler level.

Butler last post-season played at a higher level than Tatum ever has. JT is legit and arguably top 10 so I'm not saying he's complete trash either.

So what are you saying? HOF caliber numbers and 8 playoff series wins at 24 isn’t enough for…what?

Guys in the hall of fame play 20 years and don’t win what he’s already won and many had better teams to do it on.

You say he has not proven you wrong. What would do it?

What level is he supposed to be on as a player that his current accomplishments don’t justify?

Mitchell (25 points on 27 shots) and Garland (29 points on 20 shots) combined for nearly half of the Cavs’ shots and points Wednesday. They had eight of the team’s 11 3-pointers. For as capable as Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen, Kevin Love and Caris LeVert have proved as scorers, the offense — and this team’s success — will flow through its two All-Star guards. “We have to involve other guys because we can’t give teams the opportunity to just load up and feel like the other guys aren’t threats,” Cavs coach J.B. Bickerstaff said. (https://theathletic.com/3758265/2022/11/03/lloyd-cavs-donovan-mitchell-darius-garland/) “But the ball is in their hands to start.”
