Murray was such a great pick-up for the Hawks. I mean, it was probably the best off-season move this year by any NBA team. Dude is a specimen. Someone as athletic as him with that wingspan is something every NBA team should covet, and how the Hawks were able to under-the-radar fleece the Spurs is beyond me. When I found out he was available, I wanted the Knicks to get him so bad, but the Knicks are idiots who had their eyes set on Donovan Mitchell from Day 1 with no Plan B in place.


With their current lineup, this is a Championship team. You heard it here first.

For real, that's some of the dumbest logic I've ever seen. You have to think a team with basically no chance to win a title is a championship contender just because you root for them? That's fcking stupid :lol I guess you should proclaim the Falcons Super Bowl contenders too.

They have some really good pieces and are absolutely a good team. At this point I’m looking for 50 wins, not a championship.

While the defense has been better and Dejonte IS awesome and does things we’ve been missing on both ends, we still are undersized. While I love Okongwu and still haven’t seen someone defend Giannis better than he has in stretches, he and Capela don’t have skills outside of 5 feet. I could handle one or the other but both is tough. It’s bad for spacing in a league that requires it.

I think we’d need Hunter to turn into a guy who can consistently give you 20 when needed. That would be the next step. He’s not there.

Last year he got shutdown and manhandled by the Miami Heat defense. 15.4 ppg on 31.9 FG%. That was his playoffs stats.
