If the Clippers can finish top 4 in the West and PG13 keeps going off without Kawhi playing...what are the odds?

If the Clippers do end up top 4, PG should certainly be in the conversation. No question about it.

They will not finish in the top 4 if Kawhi doesn't play...

The Clippers could finish top 3 with George averaging 5 more points than he does now, but he still wouldn't win MVP.

Clippers are currently 8th and George is averaging 24 6 and 5. It's way too early for MVP talk but even if you jump the gun I don't see how he is the guy to bring up.

Because he's the one making the Clippers competitive.

If the Clippers miraculously ended up 4th seed without Kawhi, that would be one of the biggest carry jobs ever by PG. I don't see how he couldn't be in the conversation for MVP if that happened.

Now if Kawhi comes back and is the top player on the team, obviuosly that changes things.

Every good team has a best player. Are they all mvp candidates?

Ether. These lousy casuals aren't so bright at all; they raved before that ja morant should have been the league mvp last season, never mind the fact that his team went 20-5 without him after that period. Just the same group of emotional cocky suckers who try really hard but are actually pretentious frauds when it comes to serious hoop discussions.

Of course not. OP's proposition, however, was IF he can lead the Clippers to fourth seed. I doubt that happens, but again, if it does, he should definitely be in the conversation.

If Shai Gilgeous-Alexander can lead OKC to 4th seed, I'd put him in the conversation for MPV too. That's even a far longer shot than the Clippers though. We're talking about hypotheticals here.

So are we doing a list of 15 "MVP candidates?" After a certain point out isn't meaningful. The only guess worth discussing are the guys you really think may be the MVP.

Who in their right mind would give Paul George MVP when Luka and Giannis exist.

I mean injuries happen, but for Paul George to win MVP there have to be like 20 injuries to all top players.

My thoughts exactly. Bucks are currently 8-0 with Middleton being out, when he returns and if the Bucks are sitting at the #1 seed at the end of the year, there will be no discussion, most likely Giannis will win the award.

PG13 is a far, far better defender than Luka, and if he has a better record? People forget who PG is

We all know who he is. He’s not as good of a player as Giannis or Luka.

If the Bucks keep at this pace Giannis is easily winning MVP, and will probably come close to winning it unanimously.

What the hell is a mpv anyway? Mean platelet volume? A multi-purpose vehicle? What a jackass. :oldlol:

What has he done significantly so far for you to believe so? There are more players who did more while being younger, like tatum for instance. Although i wouldn't say he's quite worthy to be at the top of mvp races yet.
