Bird is definitely last. Sorry to burst the mythology around the guy, but he had WAY too many playoff stinkers for me to choose him over those two. One game with my life on the line, my top players would be, in order.

Jordan
LeBron
Hakeem
Shaq
Kareem

Of superstar players, Harden & CP3 would be last.

Any of those good choices. I will pick Lebron for his game 6 vs Boston in the 2012 playoffs, and 2016 finals + 2007 Pistons Series.
Lebron has often been the greatest performer when his back is against the wall. I feel without that environment, Bird-Jordan has an advantage.

Jordan also had that great 1993 Eastern Conference Finals comeback.

Jordan and LeBron are both easily the best choices here. If I had to pick 1 guy, it'd be Jordan

I'm rocking with my boy lebron till the end.

I would put MJ as the GOAT because his GOAT career will never be touched but as far as players, I truly feel they are a toss-up. Jordan is the better shooter but 2012-2018 lebron fills so many gaps for your team that you are instantly the title favorite if you have a competent big-man and shooting wings.

I have MJ as GOAT too, but saying his career will never be touched is taking it too far. Sooner or later someone's going to come along and surpass him. It happened to Wilt, it will happen to MJ.

Hakeem...which one of those guys will bring more defensive impact than their offensive output?

Hakeem in elimination games '86-'95: 29/13/4/2/3 on 54%, 98.7 DRTG

I think MJ's career accolades, while impressive, are easier to replicate than his actual ability. Especially his ability relative to contemporaries. MJ was ahead of the curve on and revolutionized so many aspects of his position. It's becoming harder and harder to stand out like that with things becoming streamlined.

nah he had the perfect combination of perfect teammate health and weak competition.

I guarantee a perfect 6/6 or 5/5 record is never happening again.

you'd need the most stacked team of all-time like the kd warriors. and even they couldnt pull of a 3-peat with kd going down.

shaq and kobe would have fallen short of a record like that as well. it just what it is.
