Love it, always liked Vaughn and he's the perfect guy for KD and Kyrie, especially for Kyrie having a black coach as I believe part of the reason they didn't get along with both Nash and Atkinson was because they weren't brothers

doesn't sound like Kyrie will be part of it. Time to cut their losses

I haven't really crystallized any opinion on Vaughn, but I'd at least credit him for the (short-term?) defensive turnaround. Under Steve Nash, the Nets had the second-worst (https://www.nba.com/stats/teams/defense?DateFrom=10/19/2022&DateTo=10/31/2022&dir=A&sort=DEF_RATING) defensive rating in the league; with Vaughn as the acting head coach, OTOH, that improved to the third best (https://www.nba.com/stats/teams/defense?DateFrom=11%2F01%2F2022&DateTo=11%2F07%2F2022&dir=A&sort=DEF_RATING).

Obviously, that's just a flimsy sample size; only time will tell how sustainable it is, as we'll need to see how adaptive the new HC is and how long the players continue responding to him. But the team is off to an encouraging start with him at the helm, if nothing else.

Totally normal and rational.
