Schroder and Thomas Bryant were both projected starters before being out with injuries. When they come back do they make the Lakers better?

I don't know much about Bryant but Schroeder is unlikely because he doesn't fit well with Westbrook or Beverly. What they really need is a shooter. Schroeder is an OK shower but really wants the ball in his hands with the freedom to attack, something he is pretty good at but the Lakers already have James and Westbrook for. Schroeder will have a better attitude about it than before because these days he is just trying to keep his career going and isn't trying to become a star but he will still be another poor fit.

Bryant is an energy guy big man. He was looking really promising before the injuries started.

TB will provide much needed relief for AD at the 5. Don’t know how Dennis will fit in but I can’t imagine him being any worse than nunn and Beverly. So yeah lakers get marginally better but play in tournament remains their ceiling.

They certainly couldn't be worse than Nunn and Gabriel/Jones if they tried.

I always felt Schroeder was brought in to replace Westbrook's place once traded. We don't know anymore if there will be a Westbrook trade anymore. :confusedshrug:

Don't let the MEDIA fool you. Westbrook WAS NEVER and IS NEVER going to be traded because nobody wants to take on his contract. I've stated this numerous times on this message board for 6 7 months.

Plus Westbrook shows up every night, DAVIS or even Lebron are the ones who need to be traded.

Schroeder at least carried the Lakers to the playoffs in 2021. I think they'll be better.
