I happen to run across this and this is the most insulting thing anybody has ever said about me. Anybody who knows me knows how ridiculous it is to say that I didn’t try and refused to shoot.
There is no truth whatsoever to me having looked at film at halftime and seeing that my teammates didn’t come to my defense when I had the altercation with Ricky Sobers. Even in the video that they showed you can see my teammates coming over to the confrontation. Whoever posted this should be ashamed of themselves - Rick Barry
