Ol' Mike in ABC news interview stated his family is contemplating it.

Would you vote for ol' tight lip ?

I'd laugh if he runs against Trump and beats him for the pub nomination !!!!!!!!!!

Those would make for some absolutely epic debate exchanges :lol He'd be in a tricky spot strategically though, he wouldn't be able to praise his work as VP without also doing the same thing for Trump, or criticize Trump without also criticizing himself. I don't know if a former president & VP have ever faced off in a campaign before, I'd wager it's probably never happened.

Pence and Rick Scott are neck and neck in the charisma department - neither would win a Republican nomination. Trump, otoh, is a magnetic live speaker - I saw him very early in his first campaign in Trump Doral ballroom (before these big rallies) - he has PRESENCE.

I'll throw a name out there that is in Wisconsin : Ryan (who was pub house speaker)

It's ridiculous how these pundits, especially on Fox News keep promoting the same lame ass Republicans for President:

Chris Christie
Mike Pence
Nikki Haley
Tim Scott

"Excuse me I am speaking, I'm speaking"
/fly lands on Pence's head/

I imagine Kamala would win that election due to the fact that half the GOP base wants to hang Mike Pence.

yeah that's the way it works, sport. voters want a candidate with charm & flair to represent their party. i suppose joe biden was an exception to that rule, but he was anointed and pushed into place strictly as a bernie-killer. "electibility" was the argument. trump was the boogieman. when it comes to any run of the mill voter in party primaries, it's a referendum on appeal, not policy.

Poopsie and Pence are sympatico.

He just won't back him because he refused to break the law to keep Trump in power.

Trump's policies are fine - I'd like me some 1.4% inflation, $2.50 per gallon gas and a southern border that's relatively "closed" now instead of Biden's policies. It's Trump's personality and unfiltered mouth that a lot of people hate.

I'd take almost anybody over Kamala - I've never seen someone repeat the same phrase over and over again and say nothing. All this is moot - if PA can elect Fetterman in his (debate) condition, Dems will vote for anybody.

I think Pence is running - the timing/release of his book is too spot on. It'll be difficult to run against Trump because a big chunk of Pence's accomplishments is serving as VP to Trump. The only things he has in his favor are a filtered mouth and much less ego - as far as the debates go, Pence is too much of a Christian gentleman to get down in the mud with Trump. Although, it'll probably be harder to go after Pence (vs others) because Pence pretty much did everything Trump told him to do until the very end.

If I was Trump, this would be one of my primary angles of attack in a primary featuring Pence. Nobody knew Pences name before Trump came along, and the only reason that he was VP is because he was willing to kiss Trumps ass and obey whatever he said (Pence did this because like most pols he was desperate for power and relevance). Meanwhile, Pence would have no viable path to attack Trump... even if he wasnt a gentleman, he has no viable way to criticize Trumps decision making considering that his entire candidacy would be based on the fact that he was VP, and he was only VP because of Trump chose him.

Pence was hardly unknown to political circles before Trump - he had been Governor of Indiana and in House of Representative for 12 years - Trump needed that political/congressional experience plus the Evangelical vote.

What do you mean by "political circles"? The vast majority of this country had never heard of Mike Pence when Trump named him his VP. If Pence had any political following whatsoever prior to 2016, he would have been runing alongside the 20+ useless jabronies who got steamrolled by Trump in the 2016 rep primary.

Also lol at the idea that Trump needed anything that Pence had to offer. Trump steamrolled all the supposed obedient christians (like Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio) in those primaries, which could not have happened without big support from evangelicals... and yet you believe that Trump "needed" Pence to keep the evangelical vote away from Hillary fvcking Clinton?

You are entitled to your opinion. My opinion is that Pence provided leadership in government (as opposed to business [Trump]) and knowledge and experience of Congress/Washington DC plus being a staunch evangelical Christian (as opposed to a thrice married womanizer) - perfect complement to Trump. That pairing worked both ways - Trump had the charisma, flair and bravado that Pence lacked.

Who else did you think would make a better VP than Pence (at that time)?

"yeah I was going to vote for Hillary, but I had to pick Trump after he chose a good obedient christian like Mike Pence as his running mate" - Literally nobody ever

I dunno who would have been a better VP, and I never said Pence was a bad VP - I am just saying that Pence was a nobody before Trump... hes also basically a nobody right now (hes currently receiving lavish pay from the Koch Bros to write columns that nobody reads for the heritage foundation), and he will continue to be a nobody after Trump is gone.

If he wins the pub's will tell him everything , including what black shoes to wear and how to tie them.

would it really be interesting if Ryan teams up with Pence to go against Trump ...???

I'd say Pence as VP Ryan as presidential nomination could easily beat Trump...

Why because they would talk the Pub's straight line.

Pence would be a laughable choice.
He can’t even handle being alone in a room with a woman.
I believe he calls his wife “mother”
