Most disturbing part of the article for me:


Last Wednesday, OSHA proposed fines of $145,027 against Caterpillar for not installing a guardrail or travel restraint at the foundry, which manufactures cast iron engine components.

You don't have guardrails installed over 11 foot pots of 2000 degree molten iron?

God damn, this was the 2nd employee to die at this location within the last year, someone else fell to their last December. They are going to get the shit sued out of them by his family, and deservedly so.
