The Golden State Warriors have lost 8-straight road games, the longest road losing streak by a defending champion since the 1998-99 Bulls — the season after the Last Dance.

The 2023 NBA season truly feels so far as if it is a complete turning of the page on an era. Klay Thompson and Draymond Green aka the Warriors dynasty, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, Kawhi Leonard, Russell Westbrook, etc. We still talk about them more than everyone else but they are practically irrelevant.

The NBA seems to be lacking in players that put up 'awe inspiring' play compared to the previous decades.

Giannis, Embiid, Curry, Luka, & Jokic are probably the top 5 players in the league but does anyone really care about any of these guys right now?

Nba has more balanced talent but have asterisks to their picks for face of the league.

They want it to be zion but he's Injury prone
Ja morant is just as young but they seem hesitant with him
Giannis is young old at 28
Luka is young but euro

Klay wasn't the very same player as before. But while he was gone, the warriors didn't make the playoffs yet immediately won the championship when he came back.
