That's what Lebron did in the 09' ECF, in addition to the Game 4 OT choke and historic defensive choke, aka choosing to guard spot-up shooter Lee instead of providing the size/agility needed for hedo/lewis (his natural positions)

But despite the clutch turnover machine, OT choke or defensive choke, the biggest reason Lebron lost as a massive favorite to an injured, 1-star team is because he employed a simpleton brand of ball with no capacity to grow into anything substantial - a regular season paper tiger that couldn't continue to elevate teammates in the playoffs.. Specifically, he imposes spot-up roles that stall young players, so he lacks the teammate development, fits or brand of ball to win organically and must resort to talent-based winning (team-hopper.. all-star team strategy).

He made up for that epic 2009 choke job in 2011 though, right?

This sums up his career quite nicely; sagging off on defense to inflate his rebound numbers. That way he can use his box score stats to deflect from blame, which is easy to get away with because he has millions of unthinking lemmings as his fans who fall for that crap every time.

He's been coasting on this excuse for over a decade now.
