Bulls Suck a Lot More Than They Should

There's no good reason for the Bulls sucking as bad as they do. They have the right pieces to be a 3-6 seed team.

Two all stars in Lavine and DeRozan. A former all star (but still serviceable though past his prime) center in Vucevic. A young player with lots of potential in Dosunmu. And a decent bench with Caruso, Dragic, and Drummond. I know they'll be better once (if) Ball gets added back into the mix, but still...

They need a new coach or something. If you put together a team on paper with all those guys I mentioned without seeing them play, you'd expect them to be doing a whole lot better than they are.

Zach Lavine has stats that historically make a guy an allstar but is currently 24th in ppg. The modern era requires us to look at scoring numbers differently and he's not a big contributor beyond his scoring.

Vucevic has been ass in Chicago from everything Ive seen.

Lavine and DeRozan? Every team has those guys (or better). Their names make you think ‘star’ bc youre comparing them in your mind to role players. But compared to other stars, theyre nothing special at all. Every team has a star or two.

Based on last year I thought theyd be doing a little better, but it’s not exactly shocking that theu arent. Theyre an average team that will have stretches where they look a bit above avg or a bit below. Currently theyre in the latter.
