Haha, that looked legit like a lot of fun. Easy to forget just how good NBA players are.

Am I the only one who is really impressed by the presentation? That is pretty high level and a HUGE crowd, probably 30k.

Howard looked like he was having fun, but also looked like he didn't really want to jump too much, maybe afraid to get injured. Funny to see how limited he actually is skill wise. Still can't shoot 3s or dribble very well even with this relatively very low level. He is so much stronger, taller and more coordinated though. That's what these NBA stars have, they are tall, but very coordinated.

I'd have liked to see someone like Porzingis or Giannis in this league though.

Also, with what he know about Howard, there will probably be like a whole team of hapa pro basketball players in Taiwan in 18 years.

I don't think so. The competition is like playing against high school players. Some of the players are 1/2 size of howard , and no one his size.
He did this to show dominance / but to scared to play Chinese league.
** he gets a check and vacations in the area / that is about it.

This just goes to show you how incredibly dominant NBA players are. That even a washed up Dwight Howard, and believe me, he’s been washed since like 2014 or 2015 as an NBA superstar level player, goes to some other league and just utterly destroy everyone in his first game.

I remember watching some Pros versus Joes show, and the Joes were pretty good for your local rec league and stuff like that. Or maybe it was a local-based one. But people were talking shit about the white mamba, Bryan Scalabrini, and how trash she was, Brian, who saw basically no minutes in the league and was a running joke, curb stomped the dude they put in front of him.

The talent is over the top in the NBA ... but people forget that these guys are Pro's , practice hours on end .. and if they miss a shot in a game they probably made it 100 times in a row in practice.

lol Taiwan league is like tiers below other international leagues. Dwight wouldn't start in Euroleague. A league full of Jeremy Lins vs a league full of Luka's..its not even remotely the same

Scalabrini's a big though. In 1 on 1 setting where size and strength is very important. Not many people outside the NBA can match 6'9 240lbs. I'd bet current Dwight would win 1 on 1 against some of the NBA superstars.
