Elizabeth Holmes, founder and CEO of the collapsed Silicon Valley blood testing company, Theranos, has been sentenced to 11.25 years in prison plus three years supervised release for financial crimes she committed while running the once-high flying venture.

If you haven't seen the documentary about her on HBO Max, I highly recommend it. She's a complete narcissist, liar, and a total fraud and tricked millions of people into believing that she was inventing the greatest thing in the history of healthcare. People dubbed her as the female version of Steve Jobs not even that long ago. It's insane how she used her manipulation skills to become a multi-billionaire and then lost everything in such a short span. Well deserved and I for one am very glad she's going to jail.

Not only did she **** with rich peoples money (big no no) but she also compromised people's lives by blatantly lying and hiding the fact that her 'revolutionary technology' didn't work and the blood tests on patients were wildy inaccurate.

Is she the only one going to prison? Because theres no way in hell that she was the true mastermind behind the Theranos scam, anybody who has ever heard her speak knows that she is not smart enough to engineer and execute a con on this level without an ENORMOUS amount of help
