I'm sure they'll find out that in endorsing FTX, Curry was just an unwitting dupe and did nothing actually illegal. Probably. But this is a distraction he and the Warriors don't need right now.

Their lawyers just need to do their jobs. The celebrity endorsers have some level of plausible deniability because like 99.999% of the general public they have no idea how cryptocurrencies work. It could be decided that they bear some responsibility if they are selling the shit in commercials and even more if they have some kind of ownership stake in the businesses but I doubt they are the ones held accountable for billions like this SBF person will be.
