Teams generally aren’t excited to get where Rudy or Steve helped them get. Maybe compared to worse times like how the Kings would love to win 47 games and not matter in the playoffs this year. But after a couple times it’s kinda…not being anywhere.

Id say to be carried you generally have to end up somewhere.

A title is unfair to use against everyone. There’s only one and most won’t even be close. But I’d say if you are gonna talk up someone as a winner they need…I don’t know. I don’t know what the cutoff is but it can’t be 3 series wins in a decade and not even playing the game 7 win for one of them.

There are circumstances I will accept that someone deserves a higher ranking than face value off of their abstract contribution to winning but I’m not giving a winners credit and talking about how you carry a team that doesn’t go anywhere worth talking about.

I will issue a winners credit to prop up a guy but I need to see them actually win something.
